Job summary

Gallaher Signature Living is seeking a part-time Caregiver for Park View Place in California. Deliver high-touch, personalized care and meaningful support in an elegant, resident-centered setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, companionship, meal service, and maintaining a safe environment. Flexible schedules, including weekends/evenings, are required. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification a plus
• Warm, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or evenings
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of assisted living and dementia care.
• Able to work with seniors and interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Able to operate office equipment including copier, telephone, postage machine, time clock, medical alert system.
• Able to adapt and respond to changes, make decisions, and prioritize tasks and projects.
• Able to read, write and speak the English language to interact and communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, physicians, health care professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, test within 72 hours of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
• Assist with meal service and light housekeeping as needed
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment
