Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and compassionate care that preserves dignity. This role offers opportunities across full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts with benefits for eligible employees.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement, plus clear communication with branch leadership when needs change. Training for CNA is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
• Willing to successfully complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to take additional training or education, which states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
