Job summary

Upward Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our supported living service in the UK. You will support older adults in their own homes with daily activities including shopping, cooking, personal care and medication administration.

You will maintain care plans and risk assessments, ensure clear communication, and participate in ongoing training to develop your career. The role requires empathy, reliability and a person-centred approach to meet residents’ needs in line with regulatory

Qualifications

• Ideally have previous experience in a residential care or supported living setting.
• NVQ Level 2 in care or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerable older people in their own homes with tasks such as shopping, cooking, personal care, and medication administration.
• Maintain care, support and management skills as per individual care plans and risk assessments; ensure effective teamwork through record keeping and communication.
• Attend required training and development to progress in the role.
