Job summary

Apis Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide exceptional support in residential and community-based settings.

The CNA will ensure health, safety, supervision, and well-being according to individualized care plans, assist with daily living activities, medication administration, personal care, healthcare coordination, transportation, and community engagement, while collaborating with the RN, Program Director, and interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Safe driving record and ability to transport individuals when required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and prescribed treatments in accordance with physician orders, agency policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide direct personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, meal assistance.
• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity.
• Support mobility needs, including lifting, transferring, repositioning, and ambulation assistance.
• Implement approved behavioral support strategies and crisis intervention techniques when necessary.
• Participate in required CPI interventions and other physical support activities as trained.
• Accompany and support individuals during community activities, appointments, recreational outings, and social events.
• Provide services in a variety of settings, including residential homes, community locations, hospitals, and healthcare facilities.
