Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Washington state is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities, safety, and comfort. You will work in a team to promote independence and dignity, while following community protocols and state regulations.

Requirements include a High School diploma, completion of caregiver training (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) and current First Aid/CPR, plus at least 12 months of caregiving experience; weekend rotation is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support, engagement, and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties such as making beds and tidying rooms.
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents and staff.
