Job summary

Southern Oaks Post Acute in Haynes Haven, TN, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and support to residents according to care plans. You will work under supervision to ensure comfort, safety and dignity for each resident.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, reporting changes to the Nurse Supervisor, assisting with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and transporting residents as needed. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state law.
• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per care plan.
• Record all entries and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain residents' confidentiality and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Take and record vital signs and report abnormalities to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to prevent injury.
• Transport residents to activities or appointments and support during outings.
