Avera Marshall Hospital is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide direct patient support in a hospital setting. You will assist with daily living activities and follow the established plan of care to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include personal care, housekeeping tasks, documentation, and timely reporting of changes to the supervisor. CNA certification is required, with driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential job functions including visual acuity and effective communication.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide personal care as directed by the nurse and care plan.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, and shopping.
• Assist with patient social activities per care plan.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Report changes in patient status to supervisor.
• Provide care appropriate to age of patient served.
• Use equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety and infection control policies and procedures.
