Job summary

Sioux Center Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for the afternoon shift at Avera Maryhouse. The role includes direct patient care in a skilled nursing setting, with a 2:00pm-10:30pm schedule and potential sign-on and relocation bonuses.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, vital signs, and supporting families. Eligible PTO available from day one and retirement matching benefits offered.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or pending licensing in state of practice within 120 days.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Less than 1 year related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs routine duties and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff.
• Performs blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration and weight; documents findings.
• Assists with restocking supplies and maintains a clean, safe environment.
• Provides emotional, educational and spiritual support for families.
