Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Moon Township, PA, is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality daily living assistance to residents in our luxury community. You will support residents with activities of daily living, respond to care needs, and help maintain a clean, safe environment while following policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must complete approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Willing to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Report incidents involving residents to appropriate individuals (e.g., HCD, RN/LPN, or ED).
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining room and activities.
• Check on residents and report illness or status to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate resident status and upcoming information in writing.
• Provide emotional support during move-in transitions.
