Job summary

Simpson is seeking a dedicated Care Associate to join our compassionate team in Downingtown, PA. You will provide direct resident care in an assisted living setting, supporting daily activities and promoting a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, meal support, medication reminders, and documenting observations. Training on Relias will be provided; involvement in dementia care within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; translated if earned outside the US.
• Temple University Online Direct Care Staff Training before orientation.
• Dementia Care Training completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Aid residents with mobility and transfers using walkers or wheelchairs.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and laundry when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Monitor health and report changes to staff.
• Facilitate recreational activities and outings as appropriate.
• Document care and observations in residents' records.
