Job summary

Simpson is seeking a Care Associate to support residents in an assisted living or personal care setting in the Jenners Pond area. You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meals, and medication reminders while documenting care provided and observations.

The role may require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Training includes Relias online courses and completing Medication Administration Certification within the first 4 weeks of employment with Simpson.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; English translation if printed in another language.
• Temple University Direct Care Staff Training before orientation.
• Dementia Care Training completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transferring using walkers or wheelchairs.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with administration.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Light housekeeping: tidying, laundry, bed making.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor health and report changes to staff.
• Support recreation and outings; document care provided.
