Qualifications

• Two years of bereavement counseling experience in an RN, Social Worker, chaplaincy or clinic grief counseling role.
• Current licensure as an RN (BSN) or Social Worker (LCSW), or certification from a recognized chaplaincy or grief counseling program.
• Experience coordinating bereavement programs, staff training, and community outreach is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates bereavement programs and events for a facility or service line.
• Provides counseling and psychosocial assessment for grieving families.
• Maintains bereavement database, communications, and event planning.
• Develops treatment/intervention plans with the clinical team and documents progress.
• Educates staff, volunteers, and community members about grief support and resources.
