Banyan Treatment Centers in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support patients in recovery. The part-time role involves patient supervision, safety checks, vital signs, and collaboration with therapists to deliver high-quality care.

You will interact with patients empathetically, document incidents, and participate in daily program activities while complying with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 23 years old to meet insurance requirements.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and facility grounds; conduct safety checks and communicate with medical staff.
• Measure vital signs, perform UDS and pregnancy tests; follow company policies.
• Provide respectful, empathetic patient support; refer clinical concerns to therapy staff as needed.
• Share patient information with Team Leader and Supervisory staff; collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist in patient transport, group activities, and discharge preparations; ensure facility safety and manage supplies.
