Job summary

Calvary Healing Center in Phoenix, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) PRN for daytime coverage from 7:00am to 7:30pm. The BHT will be a vital member of the treatment team, delivering patient care, supervision, interaction, and model behavior under supervision of the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 21+ age, valid AZ driver's license, and fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age to be a BHT.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred one year of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient setting.
• BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.”

Responsibilities

• The BHT operates as a core part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients.
• Works under the direction of the Milieu Manager, RN Charge Nurse, and Director of Nursing.

• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain within 30 days of hire.

• Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of Handle With Care Training within 30 days of hire.
