Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Behavioral Health Unit. You will assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, within a supportive team and a safe environment.

This full-time night shift position requires a CNA certificate (preferred), current BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and up to six months of prior hospital or physician office

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and help maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge.
