Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Assistant (CNA) for the Med Surg/Telemetry unit on a per diem basis. The role entails assisting with activities of daily living and providing basic nursing care under the RN in charge.

Requires current CNA certificate, BLS within 30 days, and knowledge of Medical Terminology; six months' acute care experience preferred. Nights shift; compensation around $19.00 per hour will be offered.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living for patients.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Maintains a safe environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge.
