Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health Unit assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and helps maintain a safe environment under RN supervision.
