Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Behavioral Health Unit. The role involves assisting with daily living activities and providing basic nursing care to non-critical patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Per diem nights shifts are available; candidates should have a CNA certificate and BLS, plus knowledge of medical terminology. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
• Support a safe environment under RN supervision.
