Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Nursing Assistant for the Behavioral Health Unit to support daily living activities, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and help maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications include CNA certification (preferred), BLS within 30 days, and knowledge of Medical Terminology, with 6 months of acute care or physician office experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and maintains a safe environment under RN supervision.
