Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our 131-bed community hospital team in Philadelphia. You will provide direct patient care on the Medical/Surgical Unit using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians to monitor patient conditions and treatment responses.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days of hire, and preference for BSN and prior acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification on hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition, tests, and symptoms; respond quickly to changes in condition and treatment results.
