Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Medical/Surgical Unit. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care while guiding patient and family education.

The RN will collaborate with physicians, monitor patient status, and respond promptly to clinical changes, ensuring quality outcomes in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital. Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
