Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire is preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire is preferred.

• Minimum six months prior experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• CNA certification (State approved) required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintains a safe environment and supports the care team on the unit.
