Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care on the Telemetry Unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate each patient’s care. The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, BLS, ACLS (within 30 days), and has acute care or telemetry experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process on Telemetry Unit.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes to physicians and respond quickly to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
