Mindcolor Autism in Texas is seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, helping children build communication, social skills, and independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid RBT Certification.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (adult & child) must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, data entry).
• Strong communication, reliability, and time management skills.
• Team-oriented and professional in all situations.
• Reliable transportation to on-site location.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, assist with client needs, and maintain safety awareness.
• Comfortable supporting personal care needs (e.g., toileting, diaper changes).
• Consistent availability (up to 40 hours/week) during center hours.

Responsibilities

• As an RBT, you directly impact success and development for our clients and families.
• Spend majority of time (about 80%) working one-on-one or in small groups with clients, building skills and confidence.
• Use about 20% of your time for session notes, documentation, and other tasks to keep care consistent and high quality.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA, implementing written protocols.
• Participate in training, meet competency milestones, and practice ABA principles daily.
• Use evidence-based behavior management strategies and respond safely in challenging situations.
• Collaborate with your BCBA supervisor and teammates, seeking feedback and sharing insights.
• Collect and input data to base treatment decisions on reliable information.
• Stay professional and compassionate with caregivers within your scope.
• Arrive prepared to start sessions on time and provide consistent support.
• Help prepare materials and maintain a safe, clean learning environment.
