Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager for Compass by Margaritaville Key West to lead dining operations and guest service. This role requires driving top-notch hospitality, coaching a busy team, and ensuring daily operations meet safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hospitality with strong financial acumen, supervisory experience, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in hospitality, or a relevant college degree with related experience.
• Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing; strong financial and arithmetic skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred, with excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stay composed and objective under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Captain of hospitality: coach and train team to ensure every shift runs smoothly from lounge to banquet.
• Operations & compliance: uphold grooming, safety, and certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid.
• Admin: handle payroll, scheduling, and reports, tracking staff hours and productivity.
• Quality & promotions: ensure food quality, create promotions, oversee inventory and beverage purchasing.
• Communication: address guest requests quickly and ensure satisfaction.
• General: analyze reports, attend meetings, and support the team with versatility.

PROPERTY INFORMATION:

This Key West Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott hotel offers a large outdoor pool with poolside cabanas, a daily hot breakfast, and free WiFi. Guests will be 5 minutes' drive from historic Old Town Key West and 2 mi from Duval Street. A flat-screen cable TV, microwave, and small refrigerator are featured in all rooms.
