Qualifications

• AALAS ALAT certification or two years as a laboratory animal technician.
• Experience with nonhuman primates and agricultural species desirable.
• Able to transport and lift up to 50 pounds as part of routine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitors animals for general health and administers medications.
• Performs laboratory diagnostic procedures and collects biological samples.
• Provides routine husbandry and environmental enrichment per SOPs.
• Maintains records and reports quality/ compliance.
• Operates in conventional and biocontainment (ABSL-1/2/3/4) areas.
