Job summary

Playbill, Inc. is seeking a Company Manager for two developmental work sessions in New York, with a path to a temporary Associate/Assistant Company Manager role. You will oversee logistics, payroll, contracts, and day-to-day company operations for cast and creative teams, coordinating with the General Manager and TTP staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for cast and creative team across each session.
• Coordinate daily company logistics: schedules, rehearsal info, attendance, breaks, meals, and general needs.
• Manage and distribute payroll and related paperwork for cast and creative team.
• Arrange travel, transportation, and housing as needed.
• Support General Manager with contracts, onboarding, insurance, labor requirements, and production documentation.
• Communicate schedules, policies, and logistics clearly and timely.
• Maintain accurate records and track expenses, invoices, and company documentation.
• Address day-to-day questions and escalate issues to the General Manager when appropriate.
• Assist with rehearsal room setup, supplies, hospitality, and other session logistics.
• Support additional General Management and production needs as they arise.
