A leading company in the waste and recycling sector is seeking a Compactor Repair Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing compaction equipment. The role includes diagnostics, repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and installations, along with ensuring safety standards and compliance at work. Candidates should possess a high school diploma, a CDL license, and relevant technical experience.
The Compactor Repair Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, reconstruction, installation, and modifications to all types of waste and recycling industry compactors and balers equipment.
Pay Range: $30 to # Hourly (based on Experience)

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a class B or C CDL license, a clean driver’s license, and previous experience with waste and recycling compaction equipment, including components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, couplers, hydraulic controls, and schematics.
Good listening, communication, and problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, strong electrical diagnostic skills related to hydraulic and electrical systems, and excellent welding and fabrication skills are required.
