Job Description: Foreman – Chute and Compactor Installation

Position Title: Foreman
Reports To: Project Manager

Summary Description:
The Foreman oversees and coordinates the installation of chutes and compactors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. This role involves supervising field installers, conducting field checks, and troubleshooting on-site issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision:
   • Monitor Field Installers to ensure proper and efficient installation of chutes and compactors.
   • Assign daily tasks, track progress, and ensure adherence to plans and safety standards.
   • Coordinate all deliveries of materials.
2. Field Checks:
   • Inspect sites before, during, and after installations to verify compliance with specifications.
   • Identify on-site challenges and coordinate resolutions.
3. Quality and Safety:
   • Enforce safety protocols and industry regulations.
   • Inspect installations for quality and accuracy.
4. Communication:
   • Act as liaison between the field crew, project manager, and clients.
   • Report progress, challenges, and necessary adjustments.
5. Support:
   • Assist with installations as needed, including handling tools and materials.
   • Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are inventoried, maintained, and available.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in chute/compactor installation or similar fields.

• Travel across all job sites in New England territory.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Salary Range:

• $70,000 – $80,000 based on experience.
