Job summary

Waste-Pro is seeking a Container Maintenance Tech to repair and maintain compactors and perform preventive maintenance to maximize operations. The role includes diagnostics of electrical and hydraulic systems and may require travel to customer locations within the region to perform repairs.

Qualifications

Required: High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair; OR 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred: Mechanical or trade school certificate; Certificate in electronic diagnostics; ASE certificate; Welding and/or fabrication skills/experience.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance on compactors.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostics and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors.
May travel to customer locations within Region to repair containers.
