Job summary

Waste Pro, USA is seeking a Container Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain compactors to ensure optimal operation. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of electrical and hydraulic components, and may visit customer sites regionally for service calls.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with related maintenance experience, and any trade or electronics certifications are a plus. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of equipment maintenance and repair.
• Or 4 years of related equipment maintenance and repair experience.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on compactors to maximize operations.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostics and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors.
• May travel to customer locations within Region to repair containers.
