Job summary

The Joyce Companies in Massachusetts are seeking an equipment operator to support grading and site utility work on our construction projects. The role involves operating compact skid steers, establishing subgrades, and performing finish grading using grading lasers; you will read and implement grading plans on site.

Candidates must hold a Massachusetts Hoisting License and a MA driver’s license, be self-motivated and team-oriented, and work roughly 40 hours per week with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience operating compact skid steers and establishing subgrades.
• Finish grading using grading lasers and reading/implementing site utility plans.
• Knowledge of subgrading, finish grading, septic systems, sewer and drainage work.
• Massachusetts Hoisting License and MA driver’s license are required.
• Experience with total stations is a plus.

Position Requirements

For equipment operator positions, candidates must have:

• Experience operating compact skid steers
• Experience establishing subgrades and performing finish grading using grading lasers
• Knowledge of subgrading, finish grading, septic systems, sewer work, drainage, and water utility work
• Ability to read and implement grading and site utility plans
• A Massachusetts Hoisting License
• A valid Massachusetts driver#39;s license
• Additional equipment experience is a plus
• Experience with total stations is a plus
