The Position involves high Guest Contact and presents the first point of contact to our guests in the morning. The breakfast host/hostess is responsible for preparing and serving the daily free breakfast bar, greeting each guest at breakfast and ensuring that guests are 100% satisfied. Organizes guest table pick-ups on completion of meals in a timely manner. Maintain a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness. Work to resolve guest challenges, ensuring guest satisfaction. Breakfast shifts are 5:00am to 12:00. This position requires you to have a high level of friendliness and attentiveness to all guests, to deliver the best service up to Brand standards. Being able to always multitask, while complying with food health code. Some basic duties include taking orders, displaying and stocking food during service hours, cleaning tables, cleaning workstation and display ware among others. This industry functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day.
Work environment: Work environment -- restaurant, and all areas of the hotel. The job involves working under variable temperature conditions and noise levels, in indoor and outdoor settings.
