Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Indiana is seeking a Bus Driver to transport club members and staff safely between designated club sites and field trips. You will supervise youth during transit, assist with boarding and exiting, and ensure vehicle safety before each trip.

The role requires a valid Indiana CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to work in a community setting with youth. A background check and drug screen are required, and a commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Background check and 10-panel drug screen required.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Valid Indiana CDL with all requirements.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in last 5 years.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to/from work and to program locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure passengers are seated and belted before moving the bus.
• Supervise members during transport and manage behavior.
• Assist members boarding and exiting the bus.
• Inspect vehicle safety before each route and report issues.
• Keep vehicle clean inside and out; record mileage and fuel as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and follow IN DMV regulations.
