Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger and air brake endorsements.
Valid DOT medical certificate; TB test yearly if required.
Minimum two years’ experience transporting youth in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization.
Must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driver’s license for at least one year.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; good judgment.
Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Observe traffic laws and safety regulations for buses and clubs policies.
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report deficiencies.
Assist in planning routes and transporting youth and staff to various locations.
Follow assigned routes and adhere to schedules, including field trips.
Maintain route records and communicate with staff about pick-up/drop-off times and locations.
Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance and follow safety procedures.
