Job summary

SEARHC in Juneau, Alaska seeks a Grant Coordinator to oversee prevention services, patient education, and data entry into Cerner. This role manages grant expenses and prepares annual reports to support federal, state, and tribal funding.

You will supervise staff delivering health education and screenings, collaborate with clinics, and ensure quality service delivery while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications

• Master of Public Health or other professional health degree. A Bachelor’s degree + 2 additional years of related experience can be exchanged for a Master’s degree.
• 3 years’ experience in healthcare, public health, nutrition, or related field(s) to include grant coordination or management, health education, motivational interviewing or lifestyle counseling services in a public health or ambulatory care setting.
• Basic Life Support Experience Required
• 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff who provide health education and case management for patients due for screening and follow-up.
• Collaborate with operational leads to ensure quality delivery of care and program services.
• Coordinate activities, document services, screen eligibility, and reimburse services using grant funds.
• Prepare annual reports, non-competing continuations, and other service indicator reporting needs.
• Travel to grantor/partner meetings and site visits as required.
