Job summary

Pursuit in Long Island City is seeking a Program Experience Manager to own the day-to-day quality of the Builder experience and the volunteer ecosystem that powers it. This role sits at the center of program operations, running events, recruiting and managing volunteers, mentors, and fireside speakers, and ensuring engagement translates into stronger relationships with Pursuit.

Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, you will be the connective tissue between Builders, volunteers, and the Pursuit

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in program, community, events, or volunteer management.
• Strong project management with multiple events and relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with volunteers and employers.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the program experience calendar: Demo Days, launch events, interview days and community events.
• Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteers, mentors, and fireside speakers.
• Set up and manage Capstone projects each quarter with staff input.
• Build relationships with volunteers and mentors for deeper engagement and potential donors or employers.
• Gather feedback from Builders, staff and volunteers to improve quality.
• Manage logistics, communications, and follow-through for all events.
