Job summary

WORK Inc. in Hanson, MA is seeking a Community Training Specialist to support four individuals with Autism as they move into a new home near Kingston.

You will mentor and promote social inclusion, helping develop program goals and service plans, while coordinating with families and providers. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in human services (internships count), a valid MA driver’s license, and a compassionate, self-starter attitude.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in the human service field; internships and volunteer work can count as experience.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License is required.
• Preference given to candidates with direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing opportunities for individuals to participate in their local community
• Provide positive role modeling and mentorship
• Preparation and implementation of program goals, individual service plans, progress notes and treatment plans
• Nurturing a positive relationship with individuals, families, guardians and service providers

We are currently recruiting Community Training Specialists who will support 4 individuals with Autism who will be moving into their new home in the Kingston area with close proximity to RT.3 and Rt. 44. This is a really cool opportunity to help promote social inclusion, provide mentorship while empowering and enhancing the quality of life of a young adult.

Requirements
