Job summary

WORK Inc. in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Community Training Specialist to support four individuals with Autism as they transition into their new home near Kingston, with close proximity to RT.3 and Rt. 44.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in the human service field; internships or volunteering count.
• Massachusetts Driver's License required.
• Preference for candidates with experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Compassionate, creative, self-starter; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities for individuals to participate in their local community.
• Provide positive role modeling and mentorship.
• Prepare and implement program goals, service plans, progress notes, and treatment plans.
• Nurture relationships with individuals, families, guardians and service providers.
• Ensure healthcare, medical and dental needs are met and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
