Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet QMHA qualifications at time of hire; QMHA-C within 6 months if QMHA-R.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in behavioral health; SPMI experience preferred.
• At least 1 year in supervisory/leadership role preferred.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships and communicate effectively across cultures.
• Knowledge of strength-based and trauma-informed approaches.
• Competency serving individuals with complex co-occurring mental health, substance use, and medical disorders.
• Maintain professionalism and HIPAA compliance; promote a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct day-to-day supervision and performance monitoring of CSS staff.
• Lead leadership, wellness, oversight, evaluation, and staff development.
• Provide direct client services including skills training and case management.
• Manage inbound referrals and triage to ensure smooth transitions into services.
• Assist Program Director with annual staff performance evaluations.
• Co-lead weekly MH team meetings with Clinical Supervisor.
• Assist with audits to ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and laws.
• Coordinate complex care with ENCC or related roles for individuals with SPMI.
• Oversee residential placement referrals and stay current on guidelines for CSS programs.
• Review documentation to ensure quality and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
