Job summary

Opportunity Development Centers, Inc. seeks dedicated staff to support individuals to live independently in their communities. You will act as a mentor, building relationships to help connect people to community resources and activities.

The role includes assistance with daily living tasks such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, medication support, bill paying and personal care, while promoting autonomy and independence in daily life.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ≥2 years' experience with persons with disabilities or mentor/teaching roles.
• Experience with community resources and teaching independent living skills.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently in their community.
• Act as a mentor and build relationships to connect to community.
• Assist with activities of daily living including cleaning, cooking, laundry, medication support, bill paying and personal care.
• Develop community relationships with organizations, volunteers, or clubs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities: Ability to support individuals to

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND
QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent At
least two (2) years of experience working with persons with disabilities
or in a mentor/teaching position that assists individuals in learning
Skills And Providing Them Independently. Experience And Understanding Of
community resources and methods of teaching independent living skills
Valid driver\'s license with good driving record and insured vehicle
available for daily use *****
