Job summary

Alternative Family Services is seeking a dedicated Support Counselor to work in community settings with foster youth and families in the Vallejo area. You will coordinate with treatment teams and caregivers to promote healing, stability, and growth in the homes and schools of the youth.

The role is full-time with some late afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a social science field or an associate with 6+ months experience with emotionally disturbed children.
