Alternative Family Services is seeking a dedicated Support Counselor to work in community settings with foster youth and families in the Vallejo area. You will coordinate with treatment teams and caregivers to promote healing, stability, and growth in the homes and schools of the youth.
The role is full-time with some late afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

This is a full-time, benefited role with some hours scheduled in the late afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. Schedules are flexible based on your availability and discussed during the interview.

This role involves working directly in the community and visiting foster homes throughout Solano, Alameda and occasionally San Francisco Counties. Therefore, it is essential that candidates possess a valid California driver’s license and maintain valid automobile insurance that includes their name as an insured driver on the policy at all times. The role may also require transporting clients, using a personal vehicle in safe working order.
