Job summary

Alternative Family Services in the San Francisco Bay Area is recruiting for a full-time position to supervise and support foster youth placements, conduct in-home visits, and develop individualized treatment plans. The role includes crisis intervention, documentation, and coordinating services with families and community providers.

The position requires a Master’s degree in social work or related field, reliable driving, and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field that meets CCR Title 22 requirements.
• Ability to obtain fingerprint and background clearances.
• 1–2 years experience with children and families preferred.
• Valid CA driver's license and auto insurance; access to insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support placements of youth in foster homes.
• Conduct regular in-home visits and provide ongoing supervision and support to youth and resource families.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within required timelines.
• Provide crisis intervention and emergency response, including evenings and weekends.
• Maintain accurate case documentation per agency and state regulations.
• Coordinate services including therapy, education, medical care, and recreation.
• Train resource parents to ensure quality care and compliance.
• Collaborate with treatment teams, county reps, and community partners.
• Identify and utilize community resources and liaison with services.
