Job summary

Pathways to Life, Inc. is seeking a Substance Abuse Professional to support individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health needs within the Community Supports Team. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and collaboration with CST partners to deliver person-centered care.

You will monitor symptoms, provide substance abuse education, promote recovery-oriented activities, and assist with crisis planning and service authorizations to ensure continuum of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold one of NC substance use credentials listed.
• Candidates must hold CADC, LCAS, LCAS-A or CCS credential.
• Full-time employment with comprehensive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and person-centered treatment planning for co-occurring substance use and mental health.
• Support symptom monitoring and education to reduce higher levels of care.
• Promote leisure activities and skill-building to maintain recovery.
• Assist in crisis planning and renewing authorizations to ensure services are delivered.

LCAS (Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist)

CCS (Certified Clinical Supervisor)
