Job summary

CCMC is seeking a Community Standards Associate to support the standards team in preserving and enhancing property standards within master-planned communities.

You will handle administrative duties, assist homeowners, educate on governing documents, and manage modification applications through to approval or denial.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone demeanor.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and efficient with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Computer skills that include a working knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Performing administrative, coordination, and documentation tasks.
  • Offering information, assistance, and materials to homeowners.
  • Educating homeowners on modification applications and governing documents.
  • Coordinating modification applications through the approval/denial process.
  • Assisting with compliance inspections.
  • Processing and tracking violations.
  • Organizing and maintaining files.
  • Responding to homeowner calls and emails.
  • Create punch list for common area landscaping concerns during violation review.

The primary goal of the Community Standards Associate is to support the community standards team with a common goal of preserving and enhancing property standards.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Performing a variety of administrative, coordination, and documentation tasks
  • Offering information, assistance, and materials to new and existing homeowners
  • Educating homeowners with regards to modification applications and governing documents
  • Coordinating modification applications through the approval / denial process
  • Assisting with compliance inspections
  • Processing and tracking violations
  • Organizing and maintaining files
  • Responding to homeowner phone calls and emails
  • Create punch list for common area landscaping concerns as they drive through the community for residential violation review. If specific landscaping items need to be brought to the attention of the association, they can be addressed per the developer’s request.
  • Light HOA administrative task when needed to support the day-to-day operations of the HOA office.

What we’re looking for:

  • One year experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone demeanor
  • Self-motivated, dependable, organized, and efficient with strong problem-solving skills
  • Computer skills that include a working knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of employment and a personal vehicle with current liability insurance – standard mileage reimbursement provided
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits. You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

  • Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
  • Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)
