Job summary

Community Support Services of Missouri (CSS) seeks a Professional Manager for Community Services in Joplin, MO. This leadership role supervises ISLs and leads the habilitation team to support individuals with developmental and other disabilities.

The position forms part of the CSS Leadership Team, overseeing training, program integrity, documentation, and on-call availability. A bachelor's degree in a human services field or five years of relevant experience is required, with prior supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or five years’ experience with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Minimum five years direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass all required background checks and maintain training.
• Proficiency with computer software and documentation practices.
• Ability to supervise habilitation programs and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee training for Direct Support Professionals on assigned caseload.
• Participate as primary habilitation team member for individuals on caseload.
• Ensure plans and strategies are implemented with integrity.
• Complete all required documentation and reports.
• Maintain open, person-centered communication with supervisors and stakeholders.
