Job summary

NLACRC in Antelope Valley, Lancaster, CA seeks a Consumer Services Coordinator (AV - Adult 3) to provide information, advocacy, and arrangement of services for consumers and families. This role emphasizes person-centered planning and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, with hybrid work options.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a human services field and at least two years of related experience; Master’s may substitute. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field.
• Two years of related experience; Master’s degree may substitute for experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Participation in development of program plans for individuals; monitor and revise as needed.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and their families.
• Documentation and reporting in line with NLACRC policies.
• Advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with individuals served, family members, and service providers.
• Identify barriers to service delivery and implement culturally sensitive strategies.
• Rotate officer-of-the-day duties and provide emergency on-call services when required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field

Master’s degree may substitute for experience
