North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is seeking a Consumer Services professional to provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families in the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley. This non-profit agency partners with the California Department of Developmental Services to support individuals across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field and at least two years of related experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor program plans for individuals; revise as needed.
• Identify and coordinate services for individuals and families.
• Document forms and reports per regulations and NLACRC policies.
• Advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Schedule and attend interdisciplinary meetings with individuals, families, service providers, advocates, etc.
• Identify barriers to service delivery and use culturally sensitive strategies.
