Job summary

North Los Angeles County Regional Center seeks a Consumer Services Coordinator to provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families in the SFV area. You will identify and coordinate services, document activities, and serve as an advocate with community agencies.

The role involves meetings with individuals, families, providers, and advocates in home, community, or office settings, with a hybrid remote option for many positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology or related human services field.
• At least two years of related experience; Master’s degree may substitute for experience.
• Understanding of person-centered planning and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and service arrangement for consumers and families.
• Identify and coordinate services; attend interdisciplinary meetings.
• Document forms and reports per regulations and NLACRC policies.
• Serve as advocate for individuals served by community agencies.
• Schedule meetings with individuals, families, service providers and advocates.
